A new campaign to raise awareness of the impact that accidents at work, and in particular accidents involving falls from height, can have on workers and their families has been launched by safety charity RoSPA.

A Perthshire farming business has been fined for safety failings after a worker was injured when he fell through a roof light of a cattle barn.

An overhaul of guidance on working at height is being launched as part of the Government’s long-term economic plan to abolish or improve outdated, burdensome or over-complicated regulations that waste businesses’ time and money.
