We’re merging with Lindsays
From 1 September, Dallas McMillan will become part of Lindsays
We’re pleased to share that Dallas McMillan and Lindsays will be joining together from 1 September.
This is an exciting step for both firms and, most importantly, a positive one for our clients and people. Dallas McMillan clients will benefit from access to a broader range of legal services across Lindsays, while continuing to work with the teams they know and trust.
What this means for you
- You can continue to work with your usual contact at Dallas McMillan
- Existing matters will continue without disruption
- Contact details will remain the same for now
- Access to a larger team across Scotland
- Additional specialist services when you need them
- Strengthened capability across areas including personal injury, employment law, commercial property, corporate and residential conveyancing
- One of Scotland’s leading independent law firms
- A growing presence in Glasgow, now with more than 120 colleagues
- 400+ people across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and Crieff
A natural fit
Both firms share a commitment to delivering expert, accessible and people-focused legal advice.
By bringing our teams together, we are strengthening what we already do well and creating greater opportunities for our clients and our people.
For David McElroy, Managing Partner of Dallas McMillan, the decision was driven by what’s right for clients and colleagues:
“Joining Lindsays feels like the right step for us and our clients. We share a similar approach and values, and this will allow us to offer a wider range of services while maintaining the relationships our clients value.”
Andrew Diamond, Managing Partner at Lindsays, added:
“We are looking forward to welcoming the team from Dallas McMillan to Lindsays. This is an important step in our continued, sustainable growth and strengthens our presence in Glasgow.
There is a strong cultural fit between our firms, and we are bringing together great people and great clients.”
Looking ahead – from 1 September
- All Dallas McMillan partners and staff will transfer to Lindsays
- Our combined Glasgow team will be based at 100 Queen Street, Glasgow, G1 3DN
The enlarged firm will continue to operate as Lindsays.
We’re here to support you
This is a positive step forward, and we are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for all our clients and connections.
